Modified aluminum hydroxide ATH-1
Before surface treatment, aluminum hydroxide has a large number of surface active light groups with certain polarity, which makes it difficult to disperse and open during downstream processing, leading to performance issues. In order to improve its compatibility with organic interfaces and reduce or eliminate the embrittlement or performance degradation of organic materials caused by the addition of aluminum hydroxide, surface modification is necessary. The modified chloroalumina will reduce its oil absorption and significantly improve its dispersibility compared to the powder.
Product Features
Good processing performance: fast powder eating speed, non sticking to rollers and molds
Excellent mechanical properties: high tensile strength, low elongation at break, and good hardness
Processing technology: Fast filtration speed, no hard particles
Excellent flame retardant performance

In terms of tensile strength: ATH-1>ATHZ-1>Competitor 1>Competitor 2>Competitor 3, the above powders have the best ATH effect in modification and reinforcement;
In terms of elongation at break: Competitor 3>Competitor 2>Competitor 1>ATHZ-1>ATH-1, among the above powders, Competitor 3 has the best effect in terms of elongation;
In terms of hardness, ATH-1>ATHZ-1>competitor 1=competitor 2>competitor 3. For the above powders, the hardness of ATH-1 and ATHZ-1 is higher than that of the competitor products.
Application Area
Flame retardant silicone
Composite insulator
Polyolefin wire and cable
Modified plastics
Notes
If silicone rubber has requirements for improving its aging resistance (without yellowing after thermal aging), it is necessary to communicate with our sales personnel in advance and provide customized samples (phenylsilane containing silicone);
Before testing and using composite modified products, it is necessary to first compare the performance of a single treatment and the original powder, and analyze the differences between the two and the sample before determining the applicable composite treatment;
We can accept customized requirements for processing. If you have any requirements, please communicate with the business leader and R&D engineer.
